Although I'm not the biggest fan of American food, we were in the area so decided to check out Apollo Grill. The lump crab macaroni & cheese and the calamari were delicious! The cavatelli pasta was also top tier! I would suggest you steer clear of the Clams Casino (weird taste to them) and the Apollo Burger. The goat cheese on the burger was not the best and it just wasn't anything special. I only ate 1/3 of it. We ended our dinner with dessert and I would highly recommend their Soft Center Chocolate Cake! Delicious. We also had the warm pound cake which wasn't my favorite because the strawberry syrup tasted too artificial. However, the rest of the table enjoyed it!

I hadn't been here for dinner in a few years and I remembered I really liked it here so I decided to return. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. We were seated in a nice table and our waitress brought water and took our drink order. She brought our drinks, which were nicely crafted, and I ordered some crab & asparagus soup. The soup was tasty, but could have been hotter. I then ordered some Ahi tuna for my entree. The waitress removed my soup bowl and the bread plates that were on table. I asked her if there was any bread and she told me no. I told her I was surprised. Why do you have bread plates on the table if you don't have bread? Made no sense? The entree came and was also delicious. I plan on returning soon but I'll bring my own bread.

Apollo Grill was such a pleasant surprise during my recent work trip to Bethlehem as it was the first restaurant I tried out in Pennsylvania that was actually packed and bustling which I took as a good sign since it seemed like a lot of locals were here on a Tuesday night. The restaurant is dimly lit and even though it's busy, it's not hard to hear your table talking which is a big plus in my opinion. My pet peeve is when a restaurant has poor insulation and you could barely hold a conversation and I did not have this issue at Apollo at all. The menu was so broad that it honestly took us about half an hour to finally figure out what we wanted to order but I'd say we were pretty satisfied with our selection. **Black and Bleu Tenderloin - Flavors were great but this is a HEAVY dish and I reccomend sharing. It could be salty to some so keep that in mind. **Nachos - these nachos were supersized and I wish these came out first because we would have changed our attack plan because it was a shame that we had to take it home and eat it soggy later that night. **Burrata - Our group's personal favorite of the night. The light and fresh buratta paired with that aged balsamic and bacon/crispy prosciutto was divine. We could have put down 5 more of these each. A MUST TRY dish! **Baked Brie en Croute - This felt like a very elevated cheese and crackers meal and was oh so comforting. It honestly reminded me of a deconstructed apple pie in a weird way when you eat the cracker with the baked brie, thinly sliced green apple, and caramel. **Farfalle w/ Chicken - Nothing much to say other than it was a solid pasta dish with great textures. Adding chicken to this dish was such a great move in my opinion. **Catch of the Day - I was too full to try the fish but the hush puppies that it came with was solid! **Lettuce Wraps - Our group's least favorite dish and we wouldn't order this again. It's not bad but the meat just seemed like a very bad bulgolgi instead of beef short ribs. There was no wow factor to these either. Overall, Apollo is a great place to grab dinner with a group of friends and the menu is so vast that you honestly can't go wrong. If I ever make another trip out to Bethlehem, Apollo is a definite revisit for me!

Passing thru Bethlehem on our way somewhere else and stopped here for lunch. My wife had been here once before. Downtown Bethlehem is actually a really cool little town. I definitely recommend coming here to stroll the small shops and stores and grabbing a bite while here. The ambiance at the Apollo is modern and casual but super inviting. Especially the bar. Great vibe. Menu was unique and very creative. It was only one page but a great great selection of offerings. One of those menus where every item I perused I said " Ooo I want that". Toughest part was deciding what to get. Speaking of creative, they rolled out a fall martini flight . 3 small martinis hanging from a martini glass tree. We didn't get it but major props for creativity. I got the Thai chicken wrap. Very good. We had beef carpaccio appie. Wings. Everything was really really good. The food here is obviously plus plus so I won't go on about it. The staff was up beat, friendly and high energy. The staff enjoyed working here and you could tell as good vibes permeated the atmosphere. I can't wait to come back for dinner. Make the trip to Apollo in Bethlehem for the great town scene and very good eats. Based on my experience here, I'd have to rate them a 5.

This was another yelp find and we were really happy with our experience. The food was really good overall, the service was very friendly and personable and we really enjoyed our visit. My husband wanted to order a soup and was chatting with the waitress about the options. He was thinking of the cream of potato but upon the waitress' and a fellow nearby diner's recommendation switched to the french onion and was very pleased. I also was blown away, I don't generally enjoy french onion soup, except for the cheese, but this was delicious. I don't usually love the soggy bread but they must use a thick fresh crusty slice because it had a slight crunch to it and was tasty. The cheese as always was delicious and the broth was thick and full of onions. It really was the best i've tasted. My husband and I chose to share 2 sandwiches. He ordered the spare rib sandwich and I the brisket. The spare rib was noticably the better of the 2, melt in your mouth meat, and good flavor on a perfectly toasted slice of bread. The brisket was good, and had good flavoring, unfortunately it was very fatty which ruined it a bit. We were there for an early dinner and unfortunately there dinner menu items weren't available, but we heard good things from nearby customers about their seafood and dinner options. Overall though we enjoyed our experience and would definitely be up for stopping back again next time in the area.
